It would be nice if there was just a simple guide for email setup (with postfix) for a simple satellite system. Most systems I've had to setup have a requirement to report (via email) stats or alerts but have no concern with incoming emails. They just need outgoing email support.

Thanks for the feedback! We recently added guides for using Exim in a send-only configuration (http://library.linode.com/email-guides/exim/), and we'll certainly consider doing the same for Postfix.

One thing which would be nice is a SpamAssassin Guide. I have not set it up myself yet, or I might volunteer a rough draft. Seems like the sort of thing which could be in Linode's best interest, anyway.

I would love to see some more articles about lean, send-only configurations for running on a light VPS. At least with a send-only setup you don't have to worry about someone abusing your email server. +1 for a postfix setup.

Thanks for the suggestion, David! I'll forward it onto the rest of our documentation team.
